A WORD FROM THE OWNER

Since I was a young kid, I have always been deeply fascinated with the art of storytelling. When I was just 10 years old, I’d grab a camera and run around capturing footage of anything I could find—whether it was a big, ripe tomato in the garden, my little brother playing, the family dog, or any other moment that caught my eye. By the time I turned 14, my family, along with a close friend of ours, bought a farm. I was determined to film the entire process from start to finish and create a movie about us building the farm together. Sadly, due to the sudden and heartbreaking death of our friend from Covid, I realized I couldn’t complete the movie as planned. That tragedy made me reflect on how many stories like ours could be lost forever, slipping quietly into the dust bin of history. Then my thoughts turned to my grandparents and the powerful legacy they had given me. It became clear that I needed to document and preserve their story—not just for me, but for my children and their children after them. I named the two-part documentary “Seedbed,” and throughout my high school years, I dedicated myself to filming and sharing the rich story of the Cawthon Legacy. From that moment on, my passion for filmmaking only grew stronger, and now, we at Keep It Clean Media dedicate ourselves fully to the craft.
